This app is intended for verified CTS technicians only. You must have a valid @ctscp.com email address and be verified by the administrator before you can access the database. Do not share this app or refer colleagues to it without first contacting the administrator.
To get access, report an issue, or get help installing: SEdwards@ctscp.com
Open the app URL in Safari (iPhone/iPad) or Chrome (Android/laptop), tap the Share button, then tap Add to Home Screen. The app will appear on your home screen and launch full screen like a native app. This only needs to be done once per device. If you need help installing contact the administrator.
Requires internet/signal:
Works fully offline:
Always ensure your Planning and route setup is complete before heading to site where signal may be limited. The app saves your inspection data locally every few seconds so even if you lose signal mid-inspection your work is safe.
Your data is tied to your personal account. When connected to the internet the app automatically syncs to your secure personal database. If you plan your route on a laptop, your tablet will have the same data on site — and vice versa.
Important sync notes:
When a new version is available a small Update available banner will appear at the top of the screen with a Refresh button.
Each Excel import creates a named allocation tab in Planning. You can import multiple allocations and view them independently or together.
Allocation naming: Each allocation must have a unique name per account. If you import a file with the same name as an existing allocation the import will be blocked — rename the file and try again. If you previously deleted an allocation, re-importing the same Excel file will restore it automatically.
If you accidentally delete an allocation or tank: Re-import the Excel file under a different name to restore the tanks. If urgent, contact the administrator within 14 days — tanks, allocations, inspections and route records can be manually reinstated. After 14 days deleted data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
Each tank card in the Route tab has a Navigate button with four options — Apple Maps or Google Maps, using either GPS coordinates or the property address.
Property addresses do not always resolve accurately, particularly for rural properties. Always verify the destination before setting off. Where possible use the coordinates option as this will always point to the exact recorded location.
Personal recommendation: Use Delm8 — an app that locates property pins off their postcodes.
The Move Tank function in the Planning toolbar allows you to manually change the status of any tank.
Available statuses:
You can also permanently remove a tank using this function — see Permanent Actions below.
If you completed inspections on paper and are entering them later, you can change the inspection date at the top of the Route tab before starting. The date defaults to today.
Only backdate records if the date is accurate. The limit is 30 days. The actual upload time is always recorded separately for audit purposes.
The Override Save button appears at the bottom of the inspection form. It performs the same save as the normal Save button but bypasses standard form validation. Only use this if the normal Save button is not working and you need to preserve your data. Contact the administrator after use.
The pay calculator automatically calculates your route pay when finalising a route. A full breakdown is included in your downloaded Excel file — open the Pay Breakdown tab at the bottom of the file.
The calculator covers:
The calculator may miscalculate if:
Not included — must be claimed separately:
Note: all fuel, parking, fines and speeding for a company vehicle are the responsibility of the employee. Maintenance is covered by CTS.
Removing a tank permanently hides it from all views. It can be restored by re-importing the Excel file. Inspection history is kept in Records.
Archiving an allocation moves it to Records. This can be reversed using the Restore function.
Finalising a route moves all completed inspections to Records and clears the Route tab. Ensure all inspections are correct before finalising. If in doubt contact the administrator.
Last resort: The administrator can manually reinstate deleted tanks, allocations, inspections and route records within 14 days of deletion. After 14 days data is permanently removed. Contact SEdwards@ctscp.com immediately if needed.
CP Inspect is in active development and provided as a beta application. You may encounter bugs or unexpected behaviour.
This app is provided as a convenience tool to assist with field inspections. It does not hold professional licensing and no liability is accepted for lost, incorrect, or missing data. You are responsible for ensuring your inspection data is accurate and complete before finalising. Always retain paper records as backup where possible.
If you experience any issues do not attempt to fix it yourself. Email a description of the issue including what you were doing and what device you were using to: SEdwards@ctscp.com
This app is not affiliated with Corrosion Technology Services Ltd or Calor Gas. It is an independently developed Progressive Web App created by S. Edwards to assist CTS technicians in the field. All inspection data, pay calculations, and records are the responsibility of the user.
Delete an allocation and all its tanks permanently. This cannot be undone.
